Safety and Quality
Medizone has made sure that the Ozone omissions generated by our products falls within the safety levels for human exposure. All the Medizone products have the following Safety Certificates:
• UL - Underwriters Laboratories: This product complies with the applicable engineering requirements.
• TUV - This product complies with all the essential electrical manufacturing requirements.
• CQC - A compulsory test has been done with the factory for all electrical products sold.
• CE - Certificate of Conformity: Internationally recognized safety and quality.
• ISO 9001 - This certifies that the factory has been inspected and passed to produce and manufacture high tech products - Ozonators and Ionizers.

Important Safeguards:
When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Caution:
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK:
- Control unit should never be placed in water.
- Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
- Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
- Do not place or store power unit where it can be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid. Store in a dry place.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE OR INJURY:
- An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from out let when not in use and before putting on or taking off parts or attachments.
- Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on or near children, invalids or disabled persons.
- Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by Medizone.
- Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged or dropped into water. Return it to a Medizone Service Centre for examination and repair.
- Do not carry this appliance or unit by the power cord, or use cord as a handle.
- Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not block the air openings of the appliance or power unit or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or coach, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep air openings free of lint, hair, dust, etc.
- Do not drop or insert any objects into any opening.
- This product is designed for indoor use only.
- Never use this appliance while sleeping or drowsy.
- Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used.
- Do not use in outdoor pools.
- To disconnect, turn all controls to the “off” position, then remove plug from outlet.
- This appliance must be connected to a 230V electrical supply.
- Do not allow the control unit to become wet. Only the mat and hose should come in contact with water.
- Do not obstruct any opening of the control unit.
- Please disconnect the mat and hose after use.
- In case of a power surge, the unit will automatically shut off. Unplug and then reinsert to turn the unit on.
- The suction cups under the bath mat work perfectly when used on smooth and shiny bathtub surfaces. If your bathtub has a rough or textured surface, take extreme caution when entering the tub in order to avoid slippage and possible danger.
Save These Instructions:
- Children should not play with the unit.
- Always unplug the unit when not in use and when cleaning or moving it.
- Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the switch or removing the plug.
- Do not cover the unit with any type of material while it is in operation.
- Use by unattended children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
- Do not use in inflatable tubs or pools.
Installation Instructions
1. Remove the components from its packaging and make sure everything has been included: control unit, mat, remote control, hose, bath pillow, airstone and water bottle.
2. Be sure the control unit is unplugged and positioned on a steady surface, preferably on a level higher than the water level.
3. To place the mat, first dampen the tub surface with a small amount of water. This will help the adhesion of the suction cups (on bottom of mat) to the bath tub floor.
4. To connect the hose to the control unit, push the hose end into the units nozzle until it is secured tightly to the control unit.
5. Insert the other end of the hose into the mat. NOTE: Keep the hose free from kinks which could constrict airflow.
6. Attach the hose to the side of the bathtub with the suction cup, which is attached to the hose. The suction cup will help to stabilize the hose. This should be attached along the upper edge of the bathtub.
7. Plug the unit into a 230 volt electrical outlet.
Instructions For Use
Caution:
Mat may move when entering or exiting the bathtub. Exercise caution.
Power:
- After plugging in the control unit, press the POWER button on the touch pad panel.
- The corresponding LCD screen will indicate this.
- Each function button on the touch pad panel, when pressed, will show on the LCD screen.
Remote Control:
- All programing functions may also be utilized in a similar fashion using the remote control.
- The remote control is water resistant only. If dropped into water, it should be re moved immediately. A remote control holder is included to conveniently store your remote. Just dampen the suction cup and attach to the wall or side of the bath tub.
- The remote is powered by two CR2032 3V batteries. For initial use, you will need to insert the batteries. To insert or replace, use a coin to turn the lock on the back of the remote. Take off cover and insert both batteries “+” side up. Set cover in place and turn to lock.
Timer Function:
- The Spa has a timer function which allows you to choose from 5 - 30 minutes.
- Press the TIMER button to activate the function. To select a time, continue pressing the TIMER button until your desired time is displayed on the LCD screen.
- TIMER can be used for both steady bubble massage and bubble massage programs and can also be operated by the remote control.
Massage Option:
Your Medizone Spa offers you a choice or either steady massage action or five massage programs as follows:
Steady Massage:
- Press the STRENGTH button on the control unit.
- The massage speed may be increased or decreased by pressing the STRENGTH button repeatedly. The corresponding speed for each strength level will display on the LCD screen when selected. You have an option of 5 different speed intensity levels.
Massage Programs:
- Press the PROGRAM button on the control unit.
- Choose any one of 5 programs by pressing the PROGRAM button until the desired program is selected.. The selected program will be shown on the LCD screen.
Ionizer & Hepa Filtration:
- Press the Ionizer button on the control unit. This functions will show on the LCD screen when selected. The Hepa Filtration works constantly.
Care And Maintenance

• Keep the Medizone Spa clean and clear of obstructions. Check the air intake area frequently for potential obstructions that could block the air-flow, including lint and hair. Never store your Spa wet.
Storage:
- After use, turn the control unit off. Drain the tub.
- To remove any remaining water inside the mat, lift mat, keeping the hose attached and hold at an angle so the water collects in the corner. Turn the unit on and blow air through the mat for 30 - 45 seconds. Towel dry the outside of mat.
- After the mat is completely dry, you can roll it up for storage.
Cleaning:
- Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge or cloth. NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene glass / furniture polish or paint thinners to clean.
- Medizone Spa mat should be cleaned periodically. Clean with household cleanser once a week if used several times a week. If used less frequently, clean after each use.
- To maintain and insure the longevity of this product, follow these easy cleaning steps:
- Disconect hose from mat.
- Fill mat with fresh water, through hose inlet on the mat.
- Empty water, Repeat several times until inside residue is removed.
- Rinse outside of mat and sponge off to make sure all residue is removed.
- Follow draining instructions, as described under the “Storage” section.
Caution:
• All servicing of this Medizone Spa must be performed by authorized Medizone service personnel only. Do not attempt to repair the Medizone Spa yourself. There are no user serviceable parts.
